Do You Know the Classification of Magnetic Separators in China?

So far, there have been many kinds of magnetic separators in the market. According to different classification methods, we can divide these magnetic separators into various groups.

First, according to the different magnetic sources, we divide the magnetic separators into the permanent magnetic separator and the electro-magnetic separator.

Second, based on the strength of the magnetic field, the separators are divided to: 1. Lower-intensity magnetic field separator with the magnetic field intensity of the magnetic pole reaching 72-136 Ka/m; 2. Middle magnetic field separator with the magnetic field intensity of the magnetic pole reaching 160-480 Ka/m; 3. High-intensity magnetic field separator with the magnetic field intensity of the magnetic pole reaching 480-1600 Ka/m.

Third, there are dry type and wet type magnetic separators depending on the different media used in the separation process.

Fourth, when the magnetic fields are different, the separators are divided to constant magnetic field separator, pulsating field separator and alternating magnetic field separator.

Fifth, there are also belt magnetic separator, drum magnetic separator, roller magnetic separator, disk magnetic separator, ring magnetic separator, cage magnetic separator and sliding wheel magnetic separator according to the external appearance and structure of the machine.

In conclusion, there are many types of magnetic separators with different functions and appearances in the market. Knowing about the classification of these machines, we can choose the best and most suitable magnetic separator for ourselves to meet the specific requirement. The various magnetic separators will surely make much contribution to the mineral separation process in the domestic mining industry.
